Bird is heavy moulting this year.
There are feathers *all* over the house.

She's dropped the major feathers in the past (at a slower rate).. this year is birdie blowout. I feel kinda bad for her, she gonna be so itchy when everything starts growing back in.

Did you know arthropods shed their exoskeletons as they grow? It's a process called ecdysis, but most of us just call it moulting. It's also how characters level up, pass time, evolve, or mutate in #ttrpg Bug & Claw!
