As a kid, my 'superpower' wish was always to be a polyglot- to be literate and conversant in EVERY language. I was on the periphery seeing tourists from all over the world, and I was curious about where they came from.

And yet, I suck at learning languages.

I suppose it’s because I’m using synoptic inference and polyvalent relation as a tool of contextual compression.

Essentially a polyglot of domains rather than just spoken languages.
