I’ve spent my whole career believing in judicious use of antibiotics. So I do an extensive work up of a patient and send them to ID for confirmation. They agree no antibiotics are needed but prescribe Cipro and a Z-Pak because the patient’s mother really wants them? I give up. #MedSky

It's kind of hilarious that not only are a relative few bad apples spoiling the bushel, but the entire world is reordering itself to pretend apples don't exist, bushels don't exist, rot doesn't exist, fungicides don't exist, composting doesn't exist, judicious pruning does not exist.

Just had an interesting discussion with the 23yo on the subject of: if an attack substantially similar to 9/11 happened tomorrow, would the US response be any more wise or judicious than it was to 9/11?
