reading the Beutler piece and i think it's really interesting. i would say i have misgivings about pure majoritarian rule with no brakes, and the only reason i'm for it is bc the other party are open fascists.

I’m leery of turning on the “news”, as Trump’s deranged criminality, with attendant ICE brutality and murders, the camps, all this shit has, from past experience, been ignored or both sided, “to be fair.” But her Emails and Sleepy Joe’s autopen . 🤮
