Let’s say Trump is willing to spend $50 billion (and some number of lives!) to overthrow Cuba. Let’s stipulate he’s committed to doing this—that is, trolley problem rules. So would you be more accepting of him offering to just buy out the Cuban leadership (give them $5 billion or so)?

I must have tripped a warning system because the service doing my ADHD assessment sent me a follow up asking how often I have suicidal thoughts, what causes them and if I have access to means to act on them.

I did stipulate whenever I have such thoughts they're only ever about harming myself and-
